It's a Boy!!

We found out that we are going to have another little boy!! We are so excited and CAN'T wait to meet him. We found out a week ago and Bryce will still come to me at least once a day and become randomly giddy with a huge smile on his face and say, "We're having another boy!" It's so cute how excited he is. Bryce says if he could have it his way we would have all boys, but i know he would be just as excited if we we're having a girl!

My original due date, based off my cycle is January 17th but at the ultrasound the tech informed us that we are a week ahead of that! So now our due date is on our 5 year anniversary, January 11th! I guess thats if I make it 40 weeks which the doctors are betting against that. Maybe 37 or 38 at the most. Right now the best we can do to make sure that this little boy will stay in longer than Mason did, is to be on progesterone shots. My doctor told me that they aren't guaranteed to make me go full term but they are proven to prevent pre-term labor at least couple weeks longer than the pre-term labor before. I'm not exactly sure how it works but i have to give myself a shot once a week, which I started at 16 weeks, with a needle that is 2 INCHES long! Right in my upper thigh on my backside, aka butt! I've never had a problem with needles or shots in the past, but I've also never had to give myself a shot before! Bryce has always become so sick at the sight of needles, to the point that he has to leave the room. (when i got my epidural i didn't see him for awhile actually!) So I knew from the beginning that i would be on my own. For the first fews weeks I just couldn't bring myself to do it and i had to go in weekly to my Docs office to have a nurse do it for me. I have since grown up a little and became much braver and am proud to say that for the last 2 weeks I have been able to do it all by myself! It really isn't as bad as i made it out to be in my mind! haha

The Tech kept laughing while trying to take measurements and when we asked what was so funny he said that our little boy isn't afraid to show his stuff, the tech would try to take measurements other areas of the babies body and he said without looking for "it", "it" was was there! It was funny!

They weren't kidding when they told me Mason would grow up so fast! And now He is going to be a big brother! Baby Coy #2 is due January 17th! We find out in a few weeks whet we're having. We are so excited!

He loves to wear my shoes all around the house, it is so funny! Hopefully it's just a phase! ;)

We took Mason to the zoo again this year. Maybe we'll make it a tradition. It was a lot of fun and Mason had cotton candy for the first time, He's hooked!

The zoo has Dinosaurs all over, i thought Mason was going to love it, which he did until one of the raptors sprayed water out of its mouth at him. I wish i had a picture or video of it, Mason thought it was some kind of poison or something, he started screaming at the top of his lungs and tried wiping the water off frantically. Everyone around us were laughing. The rest of the time we were there whenever Mason saw another dinosaur he would try to make us turn around and go the other way, or just scream like when he saw Santa for the first time! Haha poor boy!

Mason had been asking for a bubble cake for weeks before his birthday! Every day "Bubble cake please Mommy?"

This is my new look, I'm Blonde! It took me a few days to get used to it but i love it!

It was so much fun to have most of Mason's cousins over to play on his special day!

Mason had so much fun blowing out his candles, he kept asking to do it again and again!

Bryce and I just had our FOUR YEAR anniversary yesterday! He really spoiled me this year and took me to the Roof for dinner and then we stayed at anniversary inn in Salt Lake. It was so much fun. It was the first time we've left Mason over night, it was really hard for me i kept wanting to call to check up on him!

I'm so grateful for Bryce and his hard work for our family. He is an amazing dad and a wonderful husband, I feel so blessed to have him in my life! He really has made all of my dreams come true!! I love you Bryce!

We went trick or treating with Masons cousins Tate and Paisley (Buzz and Cinderella) They were all so cute! We had so much fun.

Mason's Hat, belt and boots were way to big for him and they kept falling off all night. Haha poor thing i don't think he liked his costume. But isn't he the cutest woody you've ever seen?!

I don't really like fall because that means winter is coming. But I love the colors and it really makes me appreciate it more.

I love my family more than words can explain. Bryce and Mason make me so happy i really can't imagine life without them!

Murder Mystery parties are a lot of fun! I Loved all of the characters this year everyone did great with their costumes!!

I was the Wicked Witch Bryce was Sherlock Holmes and i was going to make Mason one of my flying monkeys but decided not to last minute, so he was a skeleton.

Mad Hatter and Alice were played by Kevin and Cali. Kevin won best costume!

Snow White was Bri. Such a pretty princess!

John Silver and Robin Hood were Eric and Wade

Ronelle was Rapunzel, Her Hair was great!!

Katie and Paul were little red riding hood and Hamlet, Bryce jumped in every picture he could!

Prince Charming was Steven, who tied with Bryce for best actor of the night!

I am getting so excited for Halloween! I've already been making decorations!! Look how cute these lanterns turned out. I'm so proud of myself!!

Each of these cost under $2 to make and were easier than i thought it they would be, but after cutting each picture out by hand i really wish i had a cricut!

I'm going to post a couple more halloween projects i've been working on in a week or two that are pretty cute too.

I'm so sad that summer is coming to an end but I'm so excited to this holiday season to start!

Mason can walk!! Actually he started walking at 12 1/2 months but now he is really cruising! When i look at him i don't see my little baby anymore, he's a toddler! It's so sad, but then again I'm so proud of him, and he is so proud of himself too, It's so cute. I love this little boy so much, I am so lucky to be his Mommy!

Mason turned 13 months on sept 5th.

He still weighs under 19 lbs.

Has cut his first 6 teeth in less than a month!

Mason is a little dancer, the other day Bryce went to find Mason who had wondered off and ended up in the nursery. Mason figured out how to turn the music on, on his swing and was dancing by himself in his room! haha its so cute when he dances!

He is the loudest, most out of control kid at church!

He is doing so well with sign language, and talking.

He loves going on bike rides every night with Mommy and Daddy!

This last year has been the shortest year of my life i still cant even believe my little baby isn't so much of a baby anymore. Happy birthday my sweet little baby Mason we love you so much!

Wow they say he is so little, but he seems so big to me!

Mason can say: Momma, Dada, dog, (he also barks like a dog when we ask what does the doggy say? and moos for the cow) Nana, baoon (balloon, which is one of his favorite things in the world!) ball, hi and my mother-in-law and sister-in-law heard him say "all done" after they asked him if he was done with his cake. He also knows a few signs!

Mason loves giving hugs, The other day he was playing with a baby girl his same age in the park that we didn't know and he gave her 4 hugs! he is such a flirt its so cute.

He always waves hi and bye.

His first tooth was visible 3 days before he turned one, the 2nd one was close behind and i can tell he'll be getting a few more really soon. I guess thats what happens when you get your first tooth really late, they all want to come in at once!! Poor little guy!

Mason loves to walk with our help but is still really wobbly, i don't think he will be walking for a while!

He is a really good climber! He climbed all the way up my parents stairway the first time he tired, he can also go down the stairs. We stayed in a condo that had a bunk bed with the ladder and Mason Started to climb the ladder before i got scared and picked him up. He is really good at getting off of high things like my bed which is taller than him but he has figured out how to do it. Mason is so smart!

Mason Is getting better at sleeping but would still rather stay awake 24/7 if he could! Yesterday we were at my in-laws playing games. It was past Mason's bed time but he didn't want to sleep so i left him up, i knew he would fall right to sleep in the car for our long drive home. but he crawled into the living room and just fell over on to his side half under an arm chair and fell right to sleep! I felt so bad! but it was so cute!!

Mason isn't a picky eater, he will eat anything and everything but he doesn't eat very much as you might have noticed!

We are so lucky to be this little guys parents, I love him more than i can ever express!! I would recommend being a mom to anyone! In fact i don't know why we waited so long after we got married to have kids! =)

It rained harder than i think i have ever seen it rain while we were in the middle of setting up our tent. Poor Bryce, he got drenched while mason and i sat in the car and watched. So we decided to get a hotel room for the night while our tent aired out. It was a lot easier with Mason than camping out!

11 Months Oh My!

Lately i have had several random people ask me if Mason is 6 months old. I know he is little for his age but i didn't think he was that little! But it feels like he should be 6 months still, it has gone by just as fast as everyone told me it would, if not faster. I still can't believe I'm already planning his first birthday party! It's so sad but yet, so exciting!

Mason isn't walking yet but he loves to crawl and is still getting into everything. He has never been a picky eater ad will eat anything i give him which has been great but that also means he will eat anything he finds on the ground in front of him which is so gross!! I've pulled bugs out of his mouth more than once! When ever he sees me pull out the camera he tries to grab it or just stares at it with a blank stare so i had to get him crawling when he wasn't looking.

For the 4th of July weekend we stayed close to home and went up to Cedar Breaks and Cascade Falls. It is so beautiful up there, and surprisingly cold!

Mason Loves to clap and pull himself up on everything.

I can't begin to tell you how much i love this little guy. Bryce and I are so blessed to be able to be his parents! Mason is so smart and i can't wait to see what he learns next!

He has never been much of a talker until lately he talks a lot. Its gibberish but he knows what he's saying! Its so cute. The only words that i know he says are: "Hi" which was his first word. (like his mom) "momma," "Dada," and "Dog" and i think he tries to say ball.

I forgot to post a ten month journal entry for Mason.

Mason was still doing his cute army crawl but he had started to pull himself up on everything! When he first started to crawl we had to move everything in our house that was within his reach. Then when he started pulling himself up, everything was moved again a little higher! Oh ya on saturday mason decided he wanted to crawl on his hands and knees and has been doing it ever since!

Mason loves his Daddy, He always gets so excited to see him. If Bryce doesn't pick him up and give him a hug and throw him in the air when he gets home Mason gets really upset! Bryce decided he wasn't going to shave the whole time he was at field camp, despite my pleading. haha I think he actually looks really good with a beard i just don't like kissing a breaded face!

We moved to Cedar City a couple of weeks ago because Bryce has to take a Geology field camp course at SUU. We'll only be here until the end of July so we are going to take full advantage of it, so if anyone wants to come camping or hike with us while we're down here lets us know we're all for it!! Yesterday we hiked a couple of little hikes in Kolob Canyon. It was so beautiful, there was surprisingly a lot of green next to the magnificent red cliffs.

Mason absolutely loved riding on Dads back, where he had a great view of everything! I was worried about having him in the sun for so long because he will not let me put hats on him. So i just loaded him up with sunscreen and off we went. He didn't get burnt at all it was great!

We found an unmarked hike through one of the side canyons, we were the only ones on the trail and we found the most amazing meadow with tall grass that was blowing in the wind, encircled by big trees. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We had a picnic and didn't want to leave, but the sun had really worn Mason out so we thought we should head back instead of finishing or hike.

This is right when we had turned back.......

and this was right after that! haha he was wiped out. We only live about 20 minutes from Kolob so we hurried and got Mason home and he slept for about 2 1/2 hours! Poor little guy was exhausted and that doesn't look comfortable at all!!

Mason amazes me more and more each day. He is the happiest and smartest little boy i have ever met! Mason likes to point at my face when I'm nursing him and i always tell him "thats mommy's nose" or mouth or eye which ever one he points at or grabs. Well today i was playing with him and i said "Mason where's momma's nose?" and he pointed right at my nose. At first i thought it was just a coincident so i tried it a couple more times just asking where my nose was and each time he pointed right at it!! So i asked him where my mouth was and he pointed right at my mouth and then i asked where my eye was and of course he knew!! He also started to wave today it is so cute! I am so proud of my sweet little boy, he went to bed for the night and i cant wait until i get to play with him tomorrow!

Mason loves exploring with his mouth and anything and everything goes straight in as you can tell from the pictures!!

I love how much Mason loves his Mom and Dad. I mentioned before that anytime i leave the room Mason will keep his eyes on where i left until i come back and he always has an eye on me when i'm in the room with him. Well now that he can crawl he follows me everywhere i go! Haha it is so cute and funny. He gets frustrated because he cant get to me fast enough. I'll leave him in the living room, playing with his toys while i go get a drink in the kitchen and when i come back he is already half way to the kitchen. When he sees me he gives me a big smile and a look that i know means "did you see what i can do mom!" I love being a mom, there really isn't anything more amazing!!

9 Months!

At 9 months Mason has started to crawl!!! Actually he started his cute army crawl a couple of weeks ago. His favorite thing to do is to crawl straight to me so i can help him walk all over! haha

Mason is learning sign language and understands a couple of signs. He loves to clap, but when he claps he keeps his hands in fists. He is so silly!

Mason might be a little guy but his Doctor said that he is right on track if not advanced for a 9 or even a 10 month old baby and extremely advanced for being premature! We are so proud of our little guy!!

Mason Loves swimming!! It was a little cold at first, haha can you tell by the look on his face! Cold or not he didn't want to get out!

We love taking walks everyday and taking Marley swimming!

Believe it or not this is our front yard! haha our lawn mower broke and our lawn turned into a jungle. Luckily I married a handy man and now the lawn looks great!

Mason's first day back church was great! He was so good and quiet the whole time, He really loves watching people!!

When i was changing him after church i picked him up and the tie was hanging out of his mouth. It was so funny!

He was all ready to go to the game with us but we decided to leave him with Mimi and Papa. (it was a late game.)

Masons First Easter!!

This is what we woke up to today! The second storm in a week that has brought 6 inches of snow with it!! Hopefully it will melt quick like last time.

Mason is 8months old!! I love watching him learn new things each day, It is so much fun being a mom!!

As of today Mason weighs exactly 17 lbs on our scale.

Mason is always so curious about everything and doesn't ever want to be left out of anything!

He rolls all over the place!

He loves learning how to walk its one of his favorite things.

He is always so happy and so giggly!

He still doesn't take his eyes off me! No matter who is holding him he makes sure he can always see me, It is so cute!

Whenever we are home alone whenever i walk out of his site he starts to cry and the second he sees me he is happy again.(we've been working on getting better at that!)

He is Has found his voice and is always trying to talk! I'm pretty sure he has said Hi and Mama several times! He likes to scream really loud when he is happy or sad!

Mason is so observant, you can tell he wants to learn so much!

He loves bath time and story time!

He loves watching and playing with other kids, especially his cousins!

Mason is getting so much better at eating solids, it not a fight to get him to eat them anymore!

He still doesn't have teeth but i'm not complaining because he likes to bite when i nurse and it hurts! although i think i can feel them coming!

We just talked to his Doctor and he said once the weather clears and warms up we can start taking Mason out more and he can start going to church!! We are so excited and cant wait for the snow to all melt away!!

Back to the real world!!

We just spent 10 days in the beautiful state of Hawaii!!!

Be warned there are a lot of pictures!!!

I love the Hawaii Temple and for the second time that we have been to Hawaii the temple has been closed!! I was so sad.

Mason always makes the funniest faces I absolutely love it! On this trip he really discovered his tongue, whenever anyone would smile or come up to him he would get a big smile and curl his tongue over his upper lip! haha it was so cute!! I was amazed at how many people came up to Mason, I guess they aren't used to babies like we are in Utah. But he loved it, he really is such a flirt!

We got to spend some time with Thad and Summer and lil' Avee. It was so fun, I'm glad we got to see them! Ave is getting so big its amazing, she is such a good baby!

Ok so i didn't do my hair or makeup the whole time we were there! oops maybe i should have i look so funny in all of our pictures!! :)

Mason was more interested in the big Polynesian guy taking the picture then anything at this point! He looks scared! We took a redeye flight thinking it would be easy with Mason because he would just sleep but boy were we wrong! The poor lil' guy couldn't get comfortable so we were up most the night!

We got to go paddling, it was a lot of fun but it makes you sore!

We also got to fly helicopters in the flight simulator on the Kaneohe base. It was tuff but a lot of fun!

This is Chris Bryce's friend from school, him and his wife Holly came to Hawaii with us!

Poor Mason had a fever off and on over 100* for 3 days, he was such a trouper, and even though he was sick he was still all smiles!

My dad and I went parasailing for his birthday, it was a lot of fun but I admit it wasn't scary or thrilling like we had hoped! It was to safe as my dad would say! The rope was 700ft high, we were 40 stories in the air for about 8 minutes. My dad tried to make the parachute do a flip, but luckily for me i didn't work!

Beautiful Hanauma Bay where we went snorkeling.

This was taken at Electric Beach, another beach where we went snorkeling, its right by a big power plant. The power plant uses the ocean water to cool down their machines and then they pump the warm water back out into the Ocean. People swim under the water, down to the pipes where the water shoots them out. Its really cool to watch and looks really fun. But if you swim in the wrong place it acts like a rip tide and takes you out to sea, so it's really dangerous. Well guess who swam in the wrong place?...BRYCE! I was watching from the beginning and it looked like he was doing it on purpose so i just watched and didn't say anything. Then when i saw that he was getting further away i started to panic! I found Thad and told him to go after Bryce, but by this time i could't even see Bryce anymore because he was so far away. I was so scared, but I had a prayer in my heart to help keep me calm and to know what to do. I saw some boys about our age playing in the pipe but they had a body board, i told them what happened and a couple of them went after Bryce and Thad with their board.(at this point you couldn't see either of them out there.) We were out there swimming and treading water for about an hour or so and i was getting tired so i swam back in to tell my parents and to get more help. Luckily my parents were sitting high on a cliff and we could see all of the boys coming in. Thad being an experienced ocean swimmer living in Hawaii, found Bryce swimming against the current trying to get back but only making himself tired and drifting further out to sea. So Thad taught Bryce how to swim around the current and back to shore. It was such a relief to see Bryce back on the sand. It was such a scary day. Heavenly Father has blessed us so much in so many different ways. We are so grateful and so happy!

He really loves to stand and he is getting so good at it.

I thought for sure Mason would like the ocean because it was kinda cold but he loved it!

This one needs a little bit of explaining, Chris told Bryce that he can catch a bird so he laid down covered himself with a towel and we put food crumbs on top, a couple seconds later a bird starts eating the crumbs and Chris flung the towel over the bird, He caught it!! so bryce tried and he caught 3 at once! haha it was so funny! So Thad said i bet i can catch one just sitting here while holding the baby....sure enough a couple minutes later he starts laughing and said see, while holding a little bird in his hand!

I can't get enough of this sweet boy!

We hiked up to the light house and saw a some whales! It was really fun!

Ok you lost fans does this look familiar? They have a guard here 24/7 but he let us walk around and take some pictures. After this trip Bryce and i decided to get into Lost so we just started the first season. We did see them filming at another location and we saw several other locations where they had filmed in the past. In fact the waterfall that we are i front of was in the first season.

It went by way to fast, I'm sad its over and now we have to come back to reality. I'm so glad we were able to go, it was so much fun and we all loved it!!

We found a great deal on tickets to Hawaii for spring break, so kinda spur of the moment we bought them!! Haha! We are going with our friends Chris and Holly and we talked my parents into coming as well! My brother and his cute family live in Laie going to school so we are so excited and we cant wait to see them!

Mason was still in the hospital when i took his first set and 6 months for the second set! He still has little feet for a 6mon old but it is so fun to be able to compare the models like that and see how much he has grown.

Its so sad how fast he is growing, but i'm glad that i will always know how little my lil' Premi was!

Looking For New Renters!!

So once again we are looking for renters for our Basement apartment!! If you know anyone in Logan looking for a place to live please send them our way!! We have never had a problem finding renters but then again we have never had to look in the middle of a semester either!

Most of the windows are above ground and let in a lot of light so it doesn't have the feel of a basement apt. It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room and a big dining room. it also has a big laundry room with washer and dryer hook ups. 2 blocks away from Smiths Market Place and the bus stop. 7 blocks from campus! Great for students or families. Utilities separate. We do have a couch and a love seat with the apt if interested. Mason is 6 months old already!!

We went to Ronelle's baby shower today and Mason was able to play with his friends!! Bryce has a group of really close friends that he grew up with, now most of them are married and are up in logan with us going to USU!! Three of us had babies around the same time and Ronelle is due in April with a BOY. So far we are all having boys and hopefully they will be as close of friends as Bryce and his friends were!

Mason is a very content baby and loves to watch people!

He loves to stand and has even started taking a couple steps when we walk with him!

Mason Loves playing with his daddy. His favorite thing to do is balance on Bryce's hand.

Mason only has eyes for his mom!! He always has to make sure he knows where i am, he searches the room when someone else is holding him until he finds me and then he doesn't take his eyes off me!! i love how much he loves me, he his so cute!!!

I Need Mom Advice!!!

Mason is just over 5 months old now and he is still waking up at least 3 times through the night. After 5 months without a good nights sleep i am physically drained!

I have tried so many different things like, keeping him up later at night, or putting him to bed earlier, pumping and giving him a bottle to make sure he is getting enough right before bed. I wanted to wait until Mason was 6 months before feeding him cereals but i've even tried that out of desperation!! I've also tried giving him baths before bed and keeping him up longer during the day, not letting him take as many naps. The other night after the 6th time he woke up i made Bryce go get him and put him in bed with us cuz i couldn't handle it anymore. Now its a regular thing, after the 3rd or 4th time he wakes up i just put him in bed with us and you know how uncomfortable that is!! But even if he is in bed with us he still wakes up wanting to nurse, well not really nurse just be latched on then he goes back to sleep!! Sometimes his binky will be enough but most of the time he wants more! He has had a little cold the last couple of week that may be adding to how many times he wakes up through the night but i'm not sure.

Am I supposed to let him cry himself back to sleep even though he is a little sick and sounds like he is starving? I know i can't do that, it would be way to sad! Please help I'll take all the advice i can get!

3rd Year Anniversary!!

It's amazing how fast time flies when you are having fun!! Today is our 3rd year anniversary and we are more in love than ever!

So much has happened in the last 3 year but our favorite was when we became parents of course!! Bryce is such a good dad and Mason absolutely loves him!

We had our first Christmas as a family of 3, it was so much fun with Mason even tough he didn't understand any of it! I love the look on his face haha!

Bryce and i met while we were skiing up at Snowbasin almost 4 years ago. We both would go skiing about 3 or 4 times a week for a few hours before school or work and we met when i jumped on the gondola with him and his friends. We ended up skiing the rest of the season together and we fell in love!

We celebrated our anniversary early because Bryce started school today but this year we went skiing up at the Canyons. It was such a beautiful day we were skiing above the inversion, as you can see in the picture. We left Mason with my mom for the first time longer than a couple of hours and it was so hard for me and i kept calling whenever i got the chance just to see how he was doing and ask if he missed me! After skiing we stopped at my parents to feed Mason and then we went out on our date to Thaifoon at the gateway and a movie. It was such a fun day!

5 Months Today!!

Oh wow can Mason really be 5 months old already? It has been a blast the last 5 months, Bryce and I absolutely love being parents!! Mason is such a happy boy who loves life. Everyone always told me that it would get easier after 3 months, it actually took 4 with Mason but he seems so much happier now! His acid reflux is so much better and he hardly ever throws up anymore it great. I always felt so bad for him and i felt like I couldn't do anything to comfort him, but now he is sleeping more at night and he is all smiles. He has still only slept through the night once though!!

I just cant get enough of his cute smile!

It was so much over the holidays to see family, this is the first time all of the cousins on my side were together. It was really hard to get a good picture! haha

Mason tried solids for the first time!! He only likes it when Nana feeds it to him though!

I was so worried about our new life with a baby and our one year old dog, but Marley is so good with Mason and Mason love to watch her. He just stares at her, I think he is trying to figure out what she is! Its so funny!

One day i laid Mason on his blanket in the living room to play so i could get some cleaning done and while i was in the other room i heard him laughing, when i went to check on him, Marley was jumping around him in a circle and then licking his hands as she circled him. Mason was still really little and it kinda scared me seeing her jump so close to him and as soon as i saw her i yelled NO! I felt so bad afterward and Marley has never played with him like that again its kinda sad.

Gingerbread Fun!!!

We had The Yeip's and Olsen's over and we made gingerbread houses! It was so much fun and everyone's house turned out great!!

This one is Bryce's and mine!! We made the gingerbread and Bryce built the house. I tried to help but i couldn't figure it out, i was having a really hard time!! I built the chimney and that was it, i let him finish building and I decorated and made the trees!!

I can hardly believe that Mason is already 4 months old, it has gone by so fast!! He had is 4 month check today with all those fun shots of course. Mason is such a trouper and only cried for a couple minutes. but it was such a sad cry that always makes me feel so bad, especially when he gives me a pleading look asking me to make it stop. I think I'm gonna start sending Bryce to those appointments by himself! The Dr. said you would never be able to tell Mason was Pre-mature by looking at him, he is such a big boy now, and he is getting so strong! Here are his stats:

Height- 24 1/2" 33%

Weight- 14.5 lbs 37%

Now these are based on a regular full term 4 mon. old baby but for babies his age born pre-mature he is 71% in height and 75% in weight.

We also found out that Mason qualifies for the RSV shots thru our insurance, so that means they will pay for him to get the shots!! Its one shot a month for 4 months and each shot costs $1000!! We are so blessed to be able to qualify. They told us while we were in the hospital that we can try but not to get our hopes up because insurance companies are really strict for which babies will qualify and they have to be born 34 wks or earlier. Mason was born at 34 wks and 2 days so they weren't sure if he would qualify but he did and it is such a stress reliever, I am an overly paranoid mom and this helps set my mind at ease. But thats ok to be paranoid for your first baby right?

Mason rolls over so fast now you cant take your eyes off him or you'll miss it!

Mason's favorite things in life besides his Mom and Dad are getting his bum changed and taking baths!! What is it about boys loving to be naked? I don't get it! haha!

Amazing Thanksgiving Day!

Wow look how sweet my new little niece is!! Summer and Thad just had their first baby Avalee Mae Stott on Thanksgiving. So much to be thankful for! They are still in Hawaii so we don't get to meet her until Dec. 17th and i cant wait!!

I love this kid more than anything and i love how much he loves me but sometimes i just need to put him down!! Masons motto in life is hold me now and forever! He hates tummy time and his swing, and he is starting to get to the point where other people cant hold him even Bryce! Isn't 3 months a little early for that? Any way my house looks like a Christmas bomb went off! Yes i know its early but i am so excited for Christmas i just couldn't wait! Little did i know that it would take 5 days to put up the small amount of decorations that i own! Don't worry I'll wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the tree. (Bryce's doing not mine!)

I found this bouncer yesterday and Mason absolutely loves it! And now i have time to actually clean and decorate. Its a win win situation we are both so happy!! :)

Did you know that Bryce is crafty? Look at this awesome hat that Bryce made for Mason. Isn't it so cute? It only took Bryce a couple hours to make. Im so proud of him i could never do that!!

Jade got to stay at my parents for a week while Dust went to his family golf tournament in St. George it was so fun and they got to meet Mason for the first time! Jade was able to see mason while he was in the hospital but for only about 20 minutes. Tate was so cute and always remembered baby Mason in his prayers! I cant wait until they live closer to home so we can play together more!

Can you believe that Paisley isn't quite a month older than Mason?! She is so cute and such a good baby. she just learned how to spit and it was her favorite thing to do while she was here!

Jade and my mom made these and they are the best caramel apples i have ever had!! I kinda wish i never had one because i have been craving them so we made some more the other night with the Yeips! Haha

My friend Bri took these pictures after our Halloween party at about 10pm!! She did such a good job and Mason was being so cute!!

We had a bunch of friends over for a murder mystery dinner party! it was so much fun and everyone did

such a good job with there characters and costumes! Bryce got out of his costume before we took the pictures, that little stinker!!

It was a blast and i hope we can make a tradition out of it!! It's not the best picture i know but we just set a timer on the camera so we could all be in the picture!!

Mason was wide awake early this morning after another long night, so Bryce took him so i could go back to sleep(isn't Bryce so sweet?). Bryce said that Mason sure was happy to see the sun come up, he was all smiles and he even giggled twice!! We think he giggled a couple times just over a week ago but we weren't sure. I'm so sad i missed it this morning.

Oh my goodness look how cute Mason's little smirk is!! I finally was able to catch the rare little smile on camera!! The doctors said that Mason will be behind in most things, especially emotional progress. I have just been dying to have more smiles, I really cant get enough of them!! Mason's first smile was when he was 8 wks old, which I guess that means he should've only been 2 wks! But i still only see smiles rarely now that he is 11 1/2 wks old.

I know this one is really fuzzy but it was such a cute big smile!! I stayed at my parents house Tuesday to wednesday canning grape juice and my mom was trying to get Mason to smile the whole time but he just wasn't up to it. Finally we were getting ready for bed and Mason was just staring at the wall and he got the biggest smile on his face. We looked to see what he was smiling at and he was staring at a picture of Jesus!! Isn't that so awesome? It was such an amazing experience it made me want to cry!

After canning the grapes we headed home. We hadn't seen Bryce for two days and as soon as Mason saw him, not only did he have the biggest smile I've ever seen him have, he kept that smile for a really long time!! Mason loves his daddy so much its so cute!!

Blessing Day

Mason was Blessed on Sept 27th in our home. The blessing was beautiful, Bryce did such a great job! Look how cute Mason is, he is wearing Bryce's old blessing outfit!

Here are the 4 generations of Coys. It was fun to have the family up to support Mason. Mason sure has been a blessing in our life, and we are having a blast raising him.

Hopefully we will be able to get him out to see the rest of the family as soon as possible.

Yesterday was Mason's official due date! Its so crazy that for the last 6 weeks he wasn't even supposed to be here! It has been he most amazing 6 weeks and i really cant imagine life without our little Mason! I was curious to see how big he is now that he is actually supposed to be he, so i had him weighed and measured him and he is a big boy! He weighs 8 lbs 10 oz. and is 21 1/4" tall.

"YA YA" loves Mason and we all love Ya Ya! SarahBeth leaves tomorrow to serve a mission in San diego, California. She is going to be such an amazing missionary I'm so excited for her. And by the time she gets home Mason will be calling her YA YA just like his cute cousin Tate! Its so weird to imagine that. Last night we had to say good bye to Sarah, they dont let you go to the MTC anymore so we just had to say good bye at my parents house. I'm going to miss her.

When my sweet grandma first saw Mason she kept saying "He's so perfect" and "I'm so happy for you!" over and over. It was so cute, I love my grandma!

The 2 most lovable boys in the world! Bryce is such a cute daddy, He helps me with Mason so much and whenever he holds Mason he just stares at him, smiling and then he'll finally say "Isn't he so amazing? I can't believe he's ours." I feel so lucky to have Bryce and Mason. Not only is Bryce a great dad but i couldn't ask for a better husband, he makes me so happy and i feel so safe when Im with him. I made a great choice for a husband and I'm so excited for our life together and the future kids to come!!

Finally an update on our lil' Mason! He is just over 5 weeks old now and is growing like crazy! we took him to the Dr. a week ago and he weighed 7.3 lbs its a huge difference from when he was 4.14 lbs he looks like a normal newborn now. We are so blessed with how well he is progressing.

Our camera broke so we haven't been able to get pictures up but we just got a new one so hopefully i can get better at blogging and keeping up to date on my posts!

Isn't he the cutest thing you've ever seen? I cant even believe how amazing it is to be a mom. Actually it is still sinking in that i am one! Its weird that Bryce and i are parents, but it is so wonderful! a lot harder than i thought, but wonderful!

I want to get Masons pictures taken so if anyone knows a good and inexpensive photographer let me know!

This is a picture of Mason's great grandpa Stockberger, he comes up to visit once a month. He's the perfect definition of a great grandpa. Always telling jokes and playing tricks, my face always hurts from laughing after he leaves! He calls Mason a Jar head! He is so silly.

And here is Uncle Shea! we named Mason "Mason Shea"! Mason has an Aunt Shay and an Uncle Shea! it just seemed right that we should name him Mason Shea after both of them! Shea loves having a nephew named after him, every time he sees or talks about Mason its "Mason Shea" he's so funny! Mason is wearing little shoes that Ana, Shea's Girlfriend made for Mason, they are so cute and it was so sweet of her!

I (Jade, Tessa's sister) am posting in behalf of Tessa and Bryce because they are a little pre-occupied with being at the hospital. Is Mason not the cutest thing ever? I got to go meet him the other day and fell completely in love. He is such a special boy with such a special spirt. He is doing so good. He is now off the oxygen tubes and finished with the lights. The only help he needs now is with his feedings.

Tessa is doing so well. After 48 hours in labor in the hospital she has recovered quite well. She is quite the trooper and is by Mason's side every chance she can get. Both Tessa and Bryce are good parents.

34 weeks!!

So I'll be 34 weeks on Monday, I feel ready to pop now!

About 2 wks ago i went into preterm labor. I was dilated to a 1 and 70% effaced, they sent me to the hospital and tried to stop the contractions. The shot they gave me didn't stop the contractions so they gave the baby a steroid to help his lungs develop faster incase he does come early, and put me on medication to continue to stop contractions. they also put me on bed rest until the baby comes or I'm 37 weeks!! It has been extremely hard not being able to do anything, and i hate not being able to help around the house and having people wait on me when i feel perfectly fine and the contractions have stopped about a week ago!

Im in awe with how amazing this all is! We had our first ultrasound today, and got to see our baby for the first time! The baby was moving so fast, you could see its little legs kicking! It was so cute! I love this little baby so much and i cant wait until i can hold it! The doctor was so impressed with how much the baby was moving, she had a hard time getting a good picture because the baby wouldn't hold still!
